Merry Christmas. I’m currently sitting typing out this blog post, snuggled up in my nan’s pink cheetah dressing gown with the Polar Express playing in the background- not my most glamourous look if I’m honest. But with Christmas just a few hops away, it’s that time of year to dress up a little bit and enjoy the seasonal parties. So today I thought I’d share with you my Christmas party look this year.

My family’s annual trip to London is by far one of my favourite days of the year. This time it fell on Sunday 11th December. It was an amazing and festive day trip, and here are some photos from the day.
Thursday, 8 December 2016
Hey my lovelies. I am so bloody excited. It’s finally December and goodness knows how much I need this festive-feeling. I practically shit Christmas, and it is the time of the year when I feel the best. So today I thought I’d crack on with the festivities and write up my Christmas gift guide.
Sunday, 4 December 2016
With this wintery weather becoming something of a daily occurrence, today I thought I’d chat to you about my new winter coat that I am currently in love with. It’s finally December, so let the countdown to Christmas begin!

It’s apt that I write this at my favourite time of year, in the cool of November snuggled up in a duvet watching the Intern. Autumn/ Winter and the run up to Christmas is when I am happiest and, although a seasonal cold is currently beating me down, nothing could break my absolute joy for these dark evenings and crisp mornings.

I always think it’s the little things in life that make me happy- things like cosy autumn evenings, the Apprentice and putting on my makeup in the morning. In the recent months, I have mixed up my room a bit and have come up with my own little dressing-table-like setup… and I love it.
I always love finding out about people’s makeup storage and room decoration, so I thought I’d share this new setup with you.

Autumn in Amsterdam. Leaves, which are tinged a warm rusty orange, are reflected on the water. The air is cold and crisp, it tingles on my skin, whilst I am wrapped up in the cosy snug of a winter coat.
In the half term, I was lucky enough to visit one of the most interesting and beautiful cities in the world. For a while now, I have longed to go to Amsterdam- its history and iconic sites filled my dreams and Pinterest boards. So, when I was offered the chance to go with my best friend and her family, I was so excited- and it was everything I hoped it would be and more.

Holey moley. It feels like an age since I’ve just sat down to write. Sixth Form is going well for me- I’m loving it- but it means busy 24/7 and there are only little pockets of time for blogging. I was meant to write this post up a few weeks back but there hasn’t been a spare moment- so I thought I’d do it today. It was my birthday in September, and one of my lovely pressies was the Stila Eyes Are The Window Palette in the shade Soul- so today I thought I’d share my thoughts on it.
Friday, 7 October 2016
This Monday was the first time this year I’ve woken up and felt all autumnal. The weather has begun to turn this week, with the temperature dipping and my fuzzy socks firm on my feet. And, I can’t wait. Autumn, winter months are my favourite and I love the style that comes with them.
Today, I am so excited to be creating a collaboration post with one of my favourite bloggers Kizzi from the blog Kizzi May. Together, we’ve created six autumnal outfits to give you some inspiration this season. I am thrilled to have worked with Kizzi as I have loved her blogs for ages. I’d really erge you to check her blog out, I’m seriously addicted to her fascinating posts and pretty blog photos, as well as checking out part two of this post- where she’ll share her three outfits.

In my 17 years, I feel like I’ve learnt a reasonable amount about life. Although I’m still young, with so much ahead of me- careers, uni, relationships etc- I also feel that in the time I have had, I’ve learnt a great deal. This week I turned 17 and, although I find it unfathomable that it has been a whole year since my last birthday, it has left me with this sense of reflection. So today, I’m writing about 17 things I’d teach my younger self.

A weekend in St Ives, Cornwall. Scattered with sunshine and the beautiful Cornish landscapes, last weekend was one of the most enjoyable mini-breaks I’ve ever been on. My whole family went for the break in a small seaside villiage called Carbis Bay- a short way from St Ives- for my aunts wedding. It was honestly such a lovely time, both the days spent together and the wedding. So here is a montage of my favourite photos from the weekend and a little summary too.

No added sugar, no butter healthy banana bread with the optional addition of some chocolate chips (to kill that chocolate craving feeling). A quick and easy recipe I up with recently by mixing a few recipes I found online with simply what I had in the cupboard.

So here I am- ten weeks later and indulging in my last smidge of summer holiday days off. It’s crazy how the time has whirled away from under my feet, how results day has been and gone and suddenly it’s time to be thrown back into the mix of things. I’m dreading it, if I’m honest, but I’m also pretty sure I’m ready too. The one perk- no crappy uniform- so today I’ve written a post about the things I’ve bought over the last few months in preparation for sixth form.

Stitched, appliqued or decorated, embroidery has suddenly grown to cover practically every item of current clothing. From the hipster-style patches to sewn-on slogans, the trend has consumed tops, jackets and even jeans. However, as floral embroidery emerges, I am now uncontrollably obsessed. So here is my bargain £6 attempt at the trend and also a list of desirable top-picks that I wish I COULD OWN ALL OF.

Today’s post is a bit different- a little DIY that is perfect as a present or simply a gift to yourself. With going back to school gently approaching, it would also make the perfect thing to cheer you up through the next school year. So today, here is this quick and simply DIY happiness jar.

Wow. Where do I start with these books? As New York’s Number One Bestselling novel, Me Before You is already greatly loved. So, with a follow up novel also rising in the reading charts, today I am reviewing these books (and why I think you’ll adore them).
Sunday, 14 August 2016
One of my favourite blog posts I’ve ever written was all about scrapbooking on my previous blog. It was really popular too, with a lot of readers commenting about the fact they’d love to start scrapbooking. So today, I thought I’d write a post about my favourite hobbie and share with you my scrapbook essentials and the things I would buy as part of a scrapbook starter kit.

Topshop jeans. Everyone seems to have them and a lot of people rave about them, but are they really worth it? After buying a pair of the Topshop Jamie jeans last month, I decided to write an honest review about them.

I often feel I take for granted the place I live. Within a thirty minute bus ride from Bristol, I live so close to a great city that I simply don’t visit enough. So in this ‘day in my life’-y post, I re-explore an area of beautiful Bristol (plus some photos of a tasty coffee I had on my day out).
Friday, 5 August 2016
Baking is one of my loves, yet it is something I feel I rarely have time for. Moreover, I feel baking is often a time for indulgence, as the bakes I make are often unhealthy naughty treats. However, today I tried a new, healthy recipe that is a perfect alternative to sweet treat cravings: a raw chocolate brownie.

Today I wanted to talk to you about one of my favourite apps- Pinterest. I am a complete Pinterest-addict and will spend hours scrolling through the perfectly pretty pictures, making my own if-only boards and seeking inspiration for basically any area of life. However, I feel a lot of people don’t use/ understand Pinterest, so today I thought I’d write a blog post all about how I use it.
Friday, 29 July 2016
Somehow July has been and gone, along with the first few weeks of my time off school. CRAZY. Anyway, today I thought I'd catch you up on all the things I've been loving, from fashion to films, bloggers to beauty.
Friday, 22 July 2016
Although summer brings quickly-eaten ice lollies, burn-that-turns-into-tan lines and that well-earned time off of school- it is also a time of self-consciousness for many, with exposed skin and the pressure for a ‘bikini body’. I feel that no-one can be completely free of low self-confidence but these are my tips (or coping strategies) that I use to help feel good in my holiday swimwear.
Body confidence, especially teamed with teenage hormones, is a horrible thing some times. You'll be happily getting ready when you catch your reflection at an unflattering angle and all those 'I feel good right now' feelings vanish.

As I spoke about in my last post, I have recently been on holiday to Turkey. I had a wonderful week and today I thought I'd show you some of the outfits I wore whilst I was out there. These are four of my evening outfits- when I actually popped some makeup on after hours of poolside chilling. I have linked all the clothing when possible or have found some similar alternatives, so I hope you enjoy.
Friday, 15 July 2016
In the first week of this month, I went away on my holibobs to Turkey. I had an amazing week in the sun, filled with relaxing and swimming. I also had a great time because I actually went away with my parents and my best friend, Ruth. So today, I thought I'd share with you some of the photos from the week and a little chat about what I got up to.
Friday, 8 July 2016
I am one of those strange people who really enjoys packing. I’m off on my holibobs in just a few days, so today, I thought I’d share with you what’s in my hand luggage. I love these kinds of posts and videos, but I’m going to do one that’s a little more realistic (no face-mask mania for me) as I show you my hand luggage essentials.
Friday, 1 July 2016
The last few days have been a jumble of emotion. I’ve had my last exam, prom, my first free weekend from revision and now a strange and odd occurrence that is free time. However, I’m off on holiday in just a couple of days and have a sixth form induction day (already, I know) to keep me on my toes. So today, I thought I’d chat it out and do a little run down on what’s been going on lately and what’s coming next.
Friday, 24 June 2016
Last week was honestly the most hectic week of my life. Although half term, time skipped away from me and I barely got time to sleep- never mind write a blog post! However, on Sunday I was home alone at my nans, and got some time to take some blog photos of an outfits I’ve recently become obsessed with and can’t wait to rock more this summer.
Friday, 17 June 2016
The horror of my GCSEs are nearly over- just a week to go- and with their ending comes Prom. I’m so excited celebrate the last few years of school and exams, as well as the fact that my friends and I will all get a little dressed up, so today I thought I’d chat you through the makeup I’m going to wear (praying my eyeliner will work…).
Friday, 10 June 2016
Since starting my new blog, I have tried to make sure it represents me best and that I write about things that I love and really inspire me. Therefore today I want to talk to you all about my favourite books, as I enjoy reading and want to share my love of books with you. So here is a run-down of my top five books and there’s a little bit of everything for you- books you’ll have heard of, some you won’t, romances and true stories.
Friday, 3 June 2016
I am currently on my little lunch break in between the hell that is GCSE revision. Exam season is somehow happening, so today I thought I’d share with you my exam-time favourites and the things that make studying physics a little bit better.

Today I’m going to do something a little different. A few weeks I was kindly nominated for the Liebster award and I love this award as I know it is great for spreading the word about undiscovered bloggers.
The tag involves thanking the blogger before you, answering the questions they set and then nominating other bloggers, with less than 500 followers. It is a great opportunity to discover new blogs and support smaller bloggers.
Friday, 13 May 2016
I’m currently nibbling at a delicious brownie at my desk, ready for revision in like twenty minutes. However, I wanted to stop and talk to you about something I’ve been loving lately- Graze. Completely unsponsored, I’m enjoying a treat from my second box now and wanted to tell you why I love Graze so much.
Friday, 6 May 2016
Okay, hold it- can we just stop for a second to appreciate how bloody cute this pink pinafore is? I’ve had it less than a week and I’m already obsessed with my new spring-time staple.
Sunday, 1 May 2016
At the moment, nothing screams spring more than a little bit of bare shoulder. I’m talking the bardot trend that is literally making my springtime wardrobe.
So simple to style yet so effortlessly beautiful, the bardot top trend has been popping up in our shopping bags for the last few months- and happily so.
Friday, 29 April 2016
It’s odd how spirts of inspiration can come your way so suddenly and with so much liveliness. I’m lying on my bed currently, it’s Friday and I am literally shattered. This week has been a battering one, yet I don’t want to crawl into my covers, but talk to you about something that I feel deserves a post all to itself. Like many a child, I grew up drawing and creating- never loosing that passion and imagination. I have a pure love for projects and presenting pretty much anything. I have reams of paper and notebooks full of design work that I have composed from around the age of eight, and although I no-longer design extravagant ball gowns, I have always kept my love for textiles.
Friday, 22 April 2016
Scrubs, facewashes and cleansers- skincare both excites and boggles my mind. For a while now I’ve tried out a few products here and there (whoop whoop for the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish) but I’ve found my favourite products all come from one brand- Soap & Glory.

Saturday, 16 April 2016
This year, I have the treat of being in year 11, which means that I face my first year of ‘proper’ exams. For the past few months, I have been working hard and researching for tips and information about the dreaded ‘revision’. However, all of these videos and blog posts seem to be the same, and none of them seem close to my current experience. I wanted to write about the realities of revision and my honest thoughts about it, tips that I’ve found to be actually useful and challenges I’ve been facing.
Friday, 8 April 2016
Somehow, the sun came out last weekend, and –as it is now officially spring- I got to wear an outfit that didn’t need layers of clothing or boots. These photos were actually taken on Easter Sunday when the sun was bright in the sky (until the rain came in the afternoon) and, as I really liked this sweet and causal outfit, I thought I’d write a post about it.
Sunday, 3 April 2016
So for some reason, today I have been feeling generally really inspired. I’m sitting here, all tucked up in my blanket, with an emptied cup of tea next to me, and I just feel that I want to write. Last weekend, I was having a bit of a stressful one and realised that I was in need of a shop. There was nothing in particular I was looking for but sometimes that feel-good feeling you get from getting the odd new thing, can really boost your mood. So, to cut a long story short, I went shopping and picked up a good bunch of things.
Friday, 25 March 2016
It sounds cheesy and a slight bit cliché but that is what’s happening: a new chapter. This post is the first post I will ever write on this new blog, and I am both apprehensive and extremely excited. I’ve got the chance to start again, to be renewed and inspired, and I honestly can’t wait.
